I graduated Nottingham Law School in 2011, specialising in corporate, company, employment and contract law. I know first-hand how daunting navigating this minefield can be. So, I wanted to offer my ‘Yorkshire-Lass’, plain speaking approach to the business community and take the stress out of this regulatory environment for business owners.
I began my accounting journey and completed my AAT certification, finally becoming a Fellow member of AAT in 2021. I am also a certified Making Tax Digital advisor.
With over 5 years’ experience working in practice, I decided to start my own business to help clients in my own way.
I pride myself on being a ‘Yorkshire (Barnsley) Lass’ and I will always go that extra mile for you. I believe nothing beats a coffee and a face-to-face chat to start and grow working relationships. I try to meet regularly with my clients to discuss how things are going for them and where I can help.
I have worked with businesses in varied industries, from start-ups to expansion and cessation and in all aspects of accountancy and bookkeeping.
I actively encourage my clients to utilise my breadth of knowledge and experience to their advantage. I want clients to ask me questions and pose ideas about where they want their business to go. I believe in transparency and honesty; if I don’t have the answer, I admit it! I work with the client to research answers and implement solutions.
My practice is cloud based using a variety of software and systems. If a client wants a digital solution, I provide training at their pace to ensure that they get value for money and are comfortable in using it. However, I appreciate the digital world is still not for everyone, so I give clients the flexibility of how they wish to interact with me.
